Attach the makeup sponge to the device with a simple push/press. Never twist or pull. You may wet the sponge with water depending on your preference of consistency and look of the makeup. Apply liquid foundation or BB cream directly to the sponge and turn on the device to your desired speed. Run the device over your face and let it do all the work. If you prefer to focus on certain areas of the face, you may apply the liquid foundation or BB cream directly to the skin. The sponge will provide you with an even application and a smoother and more refined look than simply using your fingers. It is important to remember to clean the makeup sponge, since dirt and oil tend to build up on sponges. Wash the sponge once a week with a mild soap or makeup brush cleanser. When finished, remove excess moisture and leave to dry. Depending on the color makeup you are using, the sponge may remain discolored after use. Discoloration does not impact the effectiveness of the sponge. Replace sponge every 2-3 months, depending on frequency of use.
